*

Small metal bell, bronze or brass, around centre of bell are five sets of etched lines, roughly 1mm in length in groups of about 4 or 5. The bell opening is an elongated circular shape, the kclapper is extant but very rusted and is detached from the bell. The handle or loop at the top is roughly diamond shaped, long and narrow with a central opening or loop. Probably for a harness.

Object found on surface of the ground in the northwest corner of the field directly north of Corcomroe Abbey. This field is within the original monastic enclosure of Corcomroe Abbey.
