Our premises is a building of the old Sister of Mercy Convent in Ennis.

Clare Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, interpret and display the material culture relating to the history of County Clare, both in the museum building and online, as an educational resource and a socially inclusive cultural service for the people of Clare and visiting tourists.

Monday to Saturday: 9:30am to 5:00pm.
Closed Sunday and bank holiday weekends (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

October to May:
Tuesday to Saturday: 9:30am to 1:00pm (last admission 12:30pm) and 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
