Black and white, Burrane Fishermen, 1866.

Black and white, of twenty men and boys sitting and standing in a line, holding a fishing net on a rocky shoreline in front of a small white washed building on the right and in the background a large estate house. Photograph is stuck on to a larger card which has evidence of water damage at the bottom; on the reverse there is foxing. Written across the front of the image is ‘Burrane Fisherman, 1866’.
The image was used on a text panel in the water section of the exhibition from 2000.
