Case, containing photograph development equipment.

Case, containing a lamp with accessories and fittings, and various items for viewing or developing negatives. The case is light green in colour, and has a white plastic handle. Inside is padded with a yellow foam which is deteriorating.

This set of equipment for developing photographs from negatives came to Clare Museum from the family of the donor’s late husband, Tom McGrath.

Tom came from Feakle, County Clare, and this equipment had been kept under the stairs in the their home for many years.

It dates to between 1945 and 1950.
