John Joe ‘Goggles’ Doyle was the captain of the Clare Hurling team beaten in the 1932 All-Ireland Hurling Final. He also represented Munster in the Railway Cup Inter-provincial competitions, and was on the winning side on four occasions. His medals are included in the museum collection.

This jersey is from the 1932 Tailteann Games where John Joe represented Ireland on the Irish hurling team that defeated the USA in the final.
