Lampshade, plastic, used in the development of photographs in the mid 20th century

Black plastic lampshade, silver metal inset; component or accessory of disassembled lamp.

This set of equipment for developing photographs from negatives came to Clare Museum from the family of the donor’s late husband, Tom McGrath.

Tom came from Feakle, County Clare, and this equipment had been kept under the stairs in the their home for many years.

It dates to between 1945 and 1950.
