This postcard, produced by Lawrence of Dublin, features the River Shannon at Killaloe, County Clare and was purchased by David McCabe of Robin Wade & Partners, museum designers, when the museum was being established in 2000.

It was posted in Killaloe on 22 August, 1907 at Killaloe and was addressed to a Mrs Ring, Hatch Beauchamp, Taunton, England. The correspondence is only partially legible and makes reference to Limerick.
