Shield shaped wooden sign, insignia of South Clare Railway and name painted on front, inscription on reverse reads: Presented by Miss S.H. Acton, P.C., U.D.C., Kinsale, in memory of the late A.W. Harty M.I. Mech. E., Chief Mechanical Engineer, G.S.R
Associated with the West Clare Railway and South Clare Railway, taken over by Great Southern Railways company in 1925 which eventually became Coras Iompair Eireann (CIE).
It is on exhibition in the long-term exhibition.
