Spectacles case, leather covered wooden box, inscribed Yeates & Son Optician Dublin
Spectacles case, black leather covered wooden box, flat with rounded ends, hinge device opens face of one end into which glasses are inserted into box. Makers details inscribed in centre of one face, inside circular belt-like decorative border is inscribed “YEATES & SON” in the central space is inscribed “OPTICIANS/DUBLIN”.
Found in his house, previously owned by the Rohan family, Chapel Street, Tulla.
