The Museum’s exhibitions are arranged over two floors of the building. The exhibitions are self-guided. It usually takes about 40 minutes to visit. There is an information desk on the ground floor.
The Museum’s long-term exhibition is split into five sections: Earth, Power and Faith on the ground floor; Water and Energy on the first floor. The Dodge D24 limousine car once owned by Eamon de Valera is on display in the foyer. Temporary exhibitions often take place in the foyer and stairwell.
Lighting levels are low in the museum. The temperature is kept at about 19C (66F) all year round.
Activity sheets and factsheets are available from the Museum’s information desk. They can also be downloaded here.
